Happy Halloween!

What a fun couple of days we have had! Here is a long slideshow of our Trick or Treat from Thursday night, and a very special Halloween, or "Happy Halloween" Party. Graham never just says Halloween, he adds the "happy" in front everytime. It's pretty cute. My friend Jenn threw a fantastic party for the little ones, it was a fun afternoon! So fun in fact that Graham is still napping and I have time to get this done now. Graham was not a fan of actually putting on his lion costume, but once it was on, he was fine with it, and wore it the entire party and for Trick or Treat. Though as soon as he got home, he wanted it off! Have a Happy Halloween!

Story time at Barnes and Noble!

I dropped the Mommy ball on this one. Wasn't even thinking it would be Halloween costume dress up at Story time! Ooops. The story lady gave us some ears to feel a part of the fun. I will be redeeming myself on Thursday, we are attempting another similar event!

We tried.....

....to get Graham his H1N1 vaccine today, that is! We ventured out with our good friends for an outing after naps to the first clinic in the area held for children. It was quite a trip, about 25 minutes away, we got within a mile of the site, and traffic came to a stop. We sat there for a while, then saw that a lot of people were parking on the side of the street and walking. We did this, and after walking for a bit, people were coming back towards us saying they were turning away people walking up, you had to be in a car. Ridiculous. Though I still think it wouldn't have mattered once we got there, we decided to play it safe, and got back in the car, and the line, to wait. The next obstacle, a woman walking with a toddler told us she was turned away because they ran out of the vaccine for children ages 3 and under. So, our trip was over. We turned around and went home. We had to go to the city of Delaware, and Graham was so excited to go to "Doubleware" as he was saying. Well, he saw the farms, and that was about it. So, back to the drawing board on this quest!

More!

Fishies!

We are at the zoo checking out the aquarium, and all the fishies!

My lunch date!

Toddler Theatre

Graham and I went to the Toddler Theatre at our local Rec Center. There is a nice theatre there, and once a month on Wednesdays his music class teacher does a little children's concert for toddlers. This was our first time going, and he had a great time! Most of the kids jump around on the stage with the singer, Graham sat in the seats with me for most of it. His little booty was itching to get up during "She'll Be Coming Around the Mountain" for the train the kids were following along. I tried to get a picture of that, but he was moving around too fast! Today's theme was all Halloween songs, and some classic favorites, Graham had a great time! After we went to the mall to get him fitted for shoes, once again I have him in too small of a size. Oops. Then we had a nice lunch together. Fun morning!

In line....

This is my view waiting in line at the Dept of Public Health today. I was waiting for the H1N1 vaccine. I had already been in line for about 20 minutes at this point. Notice I am not in the building yet:) However, once I got to the doors you see, it went pretty fast. I was actually pretty impressed with how fast the whole process was going. One of the nurses told me they had vaccinated 800 people in the last hour alone. This clinic was for pregnant women and healthcare workers only, so Graham stayed home. I am hoping to be able to take him to his own doctor to get it in the next few weeks instead of having to take him to this madness. So, baby girl and I are hopefully safe so far....now for the rest of the family..

Fall is so fun...

We spent the day yesterday raking/blowing leaves to the curb for pick up. Graham was an excellent helper, and had so much fun! Then today we went with some friends to a local pumpkin farm and had some fun there, and picked out a pumpkin. We will have to back, I meant to get a little one for baby sister! Oops!

Tunnel Fun

Graham loves his new tunnel! Though he won't play with it without someone else going through too. Which means my big belly and I have to get in that thing! I may get stuck.

Night Night Time!

So I have been struggling with how to keep Graham warm at night these days. He just won't keep a blanket on! When he was a baby, he wore a sleepsack every night, and I knew he was nice and warm. Well, I just discovered there are toddler size ones, complete with little leg holes! Graham loves it! He was so excited to put it on and try to walk! I think he remembered them from his baby days. Anyway, these are just cute! It's kind of like a toddler snuggie:)

Elmo TV.

So since Graham was sick this week, we took our first trip to Blockbuster and he picked out some movies to watch. He picked all Elmo. I wanted to get him Little Nemo, but it was out. Oh well. Anyway, over the last few days he got addicted to "Elmo TV" as he calls it. This picture was hilarious because Graham and Chloe were both watching. Chloe turned to look at the camera at the last second, but right before she was intently watching Elmo on the little portable DVD player with him. Buddies:)

Happy Fire Prevention Week!

What a fun surprise at storytime at the library today! Because it is Fire Prevention Week, the local fire department came and read stories, and let the little ones get up close to the firetruck. Graham was particularly interested in the big hose!

Out and about.....finally!

Out for a walk. Brrrrrr!

We have been a sick household since Sunday. Graham had an asthma episode Sunday, and we went to the pediatrician during emergency hours. We were praised for bringing him in and not waiting until Monday because the poor little guy really couldn't breathe. By Monday afternoon, he was feeling much better, but I of course was coming down with his cold. So, we have been housebound since Monday, aside from another trip to the pediatrician, and a trip to the pharmacy. The hardest part over Monday, and Tuesday was dealing with the little man's horrible personality! He was put on prednisone, a steroid, which, seriously made him evil! I got the ok from the Dr. to end his 5 day course of them early b/c the little " 'roid rager" was out of control. Add to that me being sick as well, and you can imagine how long these days have been! So, today, with us both feeling better, yet not quite ready to be social yet, we took a nice long walk. The fresh air did us both some good I think!
