Frog Jump!

Today we took the kids to the big Frog Festival in town. It was a fun day, Graham was really excited to pick out his frog and race it. He had two turns, with two different frogs. Neither were big jumpers:) The first round he picked out a big green frog, who seemed a little lazy. So the second attempt he went with a small brownish frog. Well, again, not a big jumper. He had a lot of fun though! The excitement of the morning wore everyone out! Both kids napped until almost 5!

Such a big girl!

Why didn't I think of this before?

Video of Graham running through the sprinklers. I am not sure why I never thought to turn these on for actual fun last summer, just to water the lawn... Anyway, he is more concerned with seeing himself on the camera than running, but he really did have a ball! With the temperature supposed to reach 90 or more this week, I am sure this will come in handy.

Wednesdays are not good around here!

So last Tuesday night/Wednesday morning our refrigerator died, and my toaster over caught on fire. This week a storm picked up our glass table and flipped it over. I am so done with Wednesdays.

Hadly 4 month stats

Here is the update from Hadley's 4 month well baby visit. She is such a peanut! Barely hitting the 10 pound mark. She is 10 lbs. 2 oz (5th percentile) 24 1/4 in (25th percentile) head circumference 15 in (5th percentile) But, she is gaining at an acceptable rate, so no concern, just petite. She even has little features I think. She is still so close to completing that back to front roll, just has to get her shoulder over. She did roll front to back for the pediatrician, and has never done it since or before! She is very, very talkative, and "sings" all the time. It's cute! She is a great sleeper, goes to bed at 6:30 (though she wants to go to sleep at 5:30!) and sleeps until 7 or 7:30 each morning, and naps at 8:30 to about 10, then again around 12:30 to around 3. She continues to love to suck her thumb, and loves to watch Graham play! She is the happiest baby, and I am so lucky to be her Mama!

Let's compare again:)

Hadley- June 5, 2010

Graham-May 2, 2008 (and our first day in our new house!)

This is one of my favorite pictures of all time of Graham-from his 4 month photo day holding his giraffe. So this gives me a chance to post it again:) I think they certainly still look like siblings, but are starting to look a little different now! I should have put Hadley in the brown chair, will have to do that tomorrow. She wouldn't smile for the camera either, little stinker!

Hadley is 4 Months Old Today!!!

Yummy homemade popsicles in the bath!

Oh, and Hadley is wearing on of my dresses from my babyhood..she wore it for a whole hour and spit up and pooed in it. Nice.

Wow, time is continuing to fly by! Big changes around here, Miss Hadley is now 4 months old. I don't have her well baby stats yet-we go to the pediatrician next week, so stay tuned. She is so, so close to rolling from her back to her front. She now prefers to sleep kind of on her side. She makes the best cooing sounds, and actually sings to herself, it is too cute. I need to catch it on video! She has really turned into a very happy baby. She has gotten herself on a nap schedule, and sleeps 12 if not 13 hours at night! Yay!

The other big news around here is Graham is working on being a big boy and using the potty. We have been diaper free for a week now, except for nap and bedtime. He is doing a great job. We have stuck pretty close to home this week to help the process, and it have really been great. I decided to use the main ideas of the Fellom Method of potty training, which was a fantastic decision. After 3 days of running around pretty much "nakey" he will sit himself on the little potty and go when he needs to, provided there is a potty in the room. So if you come visit, I apologize in advance for the potties all over the house!

How cute are Graham and his buddy, Lilli? They are on their way to the last music class of the semester!
