The Shopping Mama great Giveaway!
If you look at the links under my favorite blogs, you will see a link to The Shopping Mama. This site is done by one of my dear friends, Kate. She is doing a great job, and always has fun things to review and giveaway! Currently she has a fantastic giveaway for a Bumbleride double stroller, the Indie Twin. I have always been convinced I would get the double version of my current stroller, but the Indie Twin has given me something to think about. Of course if I win it in her giveaway, there is nothing to think about, I will be happy, happy! So take a look at the links in this post, and enter her giveaway, its a $660 stroller people!

Fun Weekend!
We had a fun weekend, despite the losses of the house favorites, the Buckeyes and Fighting Irish. Some of us took the loss harder than others:) Anyway, it was a weekend full of swim lessons starting up again, visits to the park, another Touch a Truck afternoon, and Sunday morning pancakes! I make Graham his favorite, blueberry pancakes most Sunday mornings. He has been sleeping in every Sunday for a while now, and I take that time to flip pancakes! I sneak a bunch of things in them, and he never knows, pureed carrots, pureed peas, flaxseed, whole milk, the list is endless. All he cares about are the blueberries. I make enough so that I freeze the rest and they are my "go to " meal when all else fails. At least I know they are nutritious! Graham didn't like the big trucks as much this time, oh well. I wanted to get a good picture for Gigi on a John Deere, but he wasn't cooperating, the picture below is as close as he would get to it. Sorry Gigi.

Don't you wish something as simple as blueberry pancakes made you this happy? For me it's the little guy above:) Happy Monday!

"More P Butter"
Graham just devoured a wheat bun with butter and is asking for more P Butter. Which means peanut butter, he gets the two confused! Bread and butter the dinner of champions!
Graham's latest and greatest.
I realized I haven't taken the time lately to give an update on all that is new in the world of Graham. I'll start with his talking. Oh my. The boy never stops! He pretty much has a comment on everything that he sees, and for the most part it is so endearing, but every now and then, I really don't need to know the color of every truck that passes us in the car! So, yes, he knows all his colors. Even ones like gray, black, and one of his favorites, white. Pink is also a favorite to point out. Another fun thing that he is doing is counting. I need to try to get some video of him counting to ten, it's pretty cute. He loves to count, and does it all the time. He is still hopelessly obsessed with golf, though maybe now that golf season is coming to a close we will move on to football or something, we shall see. He seems to be understanding that there is a new baby on the way, sort of. He will point to what will be baby's room and says,"new baby's room" and will kiss my ever growing baby. His best buddy Lilli just became a big sister this week, so I am hoping he will learn from her how to be a good big sibling!
The biggest thing that has happened in the last two weeks was that Graham climbed out of his crib! I can tell you it was quite a shock! He isn't a very adventurous boy, and really loves his crib, so I didn't think this was coming anytime soon. It was at the end of his nap, I knew he was up, and ran upstairs to quick go to the bathroom in my room and then go get him up. All of the sudden I heard"Mommy" very close to me. Turns out, he was down in the family room! He had gotten out of the crib, opened his door, and come down the stairs. He obviously wasn't hurt, so he must have a good method! He did it again about a week later at the end of nap time. this time I had put a gate on his door, so he couldn't travel any farther. So I have been trying to get into his room when I hear him start to wake up, but then, he still needs his "relaxing time" and refuses to get out yet, so I sit in the chair and wait for him to be ready. So he has still gone down for his naps and bedtime just fine, so I don't think we are ready to abandon the crib just yet, thankfully.
The last little story I have is Graham's recent awareness of fashion! Yesterday afternoon we were sitting and relaxing and he looked at me, pointed at my t shirt and said "all done purple shirt" and laughed. Yes, I admit I wore the same purple t shirt two days in a row, so maybe that was the issue, or he simply thinks I look horrible in purple. Regardless, I thought that type of criticism wasn't to come along until he was at least in middle school! Oh well. At least I know purple isn't my color:)
One last thing, at my OB appointment this week I got on the scale (love that part of each month, the weigh in!) and Graham decided to step on after me, and with all his clothes and shoes on, he weighed 25 lbs!
