Fun Weekend!

We had a fun weekend, despite the losses of the house favorites, the Buckeyes and Fighting Irish. Some of us took the loss harder than others:) Anyway, it was a weekend full of swim lessons starting up again, visits to the park, another Touch a Truck afternoon, and Sunday morning pancakes! I make Graham his favorite, blueberry pancakes most Sunday mornings. He has been sleeping in every Sunday for a while now, and I take that time to flip pancakes! I sneak a bunch of things in them, and he never knows, pureed carrots, pureed peas, flaxseed, whole milk, the list is endless. All he cares about are the blueberries. I make enough so that I freeze the rest and they are my "go to " meal when all else fails. At least I know they are nutritious! Graham didn't like the big trucks as much this time, oh well. I wanted to get a good picture for Gigi on a John Deere, but he wasn't cooperating, the picture below is as close as he would get to it. Sorry Gigi.

Don't you wish something as simple as blueberry pancakes made you this happy? For me it's the little guy above:) Happy Monday!

Touch A Truck-take 2!

How fun are all these pictures? We went to another Touch A Truck event, this one was a bit smaller and less overwhelming for Graham. We went with Jennifer and Andrew. I can't take credit for the photos, Jennifer took them, and aren't they so cute? For the most part the boys were willing models in all the different trucks. Graham didn't want to get out of the scooper part of the bulldozer, he liked that one the best! He got a special treat, and the school bus arrived as we were there, so that really thrilled him. The school bus was from my old district so that was a fun picture to take! We are looking forward to a fun filled weekend...more to come later!

Touch-A-Truck!

The Tylers went to the Touch-A-Truck event today. It was pretty cool, every kind of big truck imaginable was on display for little ones to go in, sit on, honk horns, you name it! Graham thought it was pretty cool, and had a great time. He was a little concerned with all the honking horns, but overall it was a fun event! I was shocked at how big it was, and how many people were there. I have never seen so many minivans and SUVs in one parking lot in my life! The only drawback was there was no school bus, Graham's absolute favorite thing to point out on the road.
