Little Hadley has been many different colors lately. She was a little jaundice on our release day from the hospital. So today we went to the pediatrician to have her billirubin levels re checked. She fell into the category of " it's not likely that it will cause a problem, but we should treat it just in case". She also was a red a a tomato today screaming her head off while getting her blood drawn for the test. Poor little thing. Now, as I type this she is a fantastic shade of blue (above) as her light therapy is helping flush away the yellow. Quite a rainbow! She has to have this contraption on continuously until we get the ok from the doctor to take it off. Which means being hooked to an outlet constantly. It is going to be an interesting night, that is for sure. So far she is sleeping well on me, bed time will be a different story I am sure. Wish us luck! We go in the am for her next blood draw to check levels. Graham's reaction was the best, "baby sister is blue!" Then went back to his business.
