We are home! Pictures in the post before this one.....

Obviously we have been away for awhile! Graham and spent a relaxing two weeks on Long Island Maine. If you click on the link and read about where we were, you will see that we were pretty isolated from the real world. It was fantastic! I have been going to this island since I was about 11 with my family, so it is so fun to see Graham enjoying all the wonderful coastal things memories from my own childhood. We had such a fantastic time. My parents and aunt were there, and all we did was play, eat, read, and relax. We took Graham to the Children's Museum in Maine, and also managed to get in a day of shopping in the Old Port. In my opinion, a perfect vacation. Graham loved the beach, would ask to go everyday. The few rainy days we had were a little tough to keep him entertained, but we managed! Graham did great on the plane, though this definitely is his last time as a lap baby. The cut off age is actually two, but if I have to fly with him again in the next few months toddler boy will be getting his own seat! I am going to add a link here to all the pictures I took, there are a ton! So feel free to skip through them. There are probably only a few people out there who will want to see them all, and you know who you are, so enjoy! There are definitely a few that I love. To see the pictures at your own pace, the easiest thing to do is to go to the bottom right corner of the picture that is up and when you roll your cursor over it, the back and forward arrows pop up click on those it will help you scroll through.. or, sit back and watch 180 vacation pictures! I think the View All button takes longer....

Fun day!

Today we took a drive to Granville, the home of Daddy's alma mater, Denison University. We met our good friends Keith, Hilary, and baby Avery for a lunch date. We went to a place that Pat and Keith have fond memories of from their college days. Quite a different visit with babies in tow! We had a great lunch, and decided that one year we should have a joint birthday party for Graham and Avery, as Avery and her sweet twin, Zane, were born on the same day, one year later. That would be so fun!

Check out Graham on the way home. No, he didn't pass out and get pimped at Denison (like his Daddy used to do!) We have discovered Graham can be entertained for a long time with stickers! He spent half of our lunch sitting nicely in the booth sticking stickers on us, and obviously himself! What a tired boy. He slept for the 30 minute car ride, then continued his nap until 4:45...the nap began in the car at 1! College wore him out!

Another tree!

Last fall, during the huge wind storm we had, we lost a big tree in our backyard. The other morning, after absolutely no wind or rain, I woke up to this in my way on the driveway. How I didn't hear it fall, I am not sure. Graham was a big help picking up sticks, and was in awe of the tree on the driveway.

Molly Update...

There was a request for an update as to Pat's reaction to Graham's love of Molly the doll. He took it quite well...though he is not sure in his son's taste...he thinks Julie is much cuter:)
Oh, and now Molly's picture is admired at the table as he eats his meals:)

Molly!

So for some reason I get the American Girl catalog. I must admit, I love it! I wish I had been a little girl in the 90's so I could have had one! I was looking at it today, and Graham was so intrigued! He was saying "that?" to each of the different girls. Which is what he says when he wants to know what something is, so I proceeded to tell him each doll's name. He wanted to see each page...we looked at it for at least 15 minutes. Then, the funniest thing happened, he kept flipping to the Molly McIntyre page and saying "more Molly"! It was too cute. Seems like someone has a little crush....then he proceeded to kiss her over and over. I'm thinking maybe it's like the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition for toddlers??? Daddy is going to love this one...oh my!

Discovering Molly...she is the one with braids and glasses:)
Getting ready to point out Molly...I missed the actual pointing...

Giving Molly kisses...
